A female indicted with pursuing Kate McCann allegedly recorded her a phone message which posed: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and information obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt persistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a family holiday in Portugal - is among the most covered investigations and continues to be unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

Another voicemail, played in court, recorded Ms Wandelt declaring: "I realize I'm fat and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I believe what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's recording said: "Imagine there is a tiny probability that I'm her? Then what? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a living here in Poland, I only wish to understand," she added.

The panel was informed that by means of emails, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an investigator with the police force who collated the evidence, informed the court there "seemed to lack any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore communicated with close associates of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann responded to a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt deposited a message on Mrs McCann's voicemail declaring "I will continue and I plan to establish my point."

The court learned the co-defendant struck up a association via internet with Ms Wandelt preceding assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in the county in that winter.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out through messaging service to Mrs McCann to say the news outlets had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she deserved to be considered genuine in the period leading up to the appearance to the village, that area, in December 2024.

The court heard correspondence between the two individuals, in November 2024, discussing endeavoring to acquire Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from utensils at a eating establishment.

"We must make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the trip to their residence, the defendant transmitted a message which stated: "We find ourselves positioned outside the McCanns' house with our headlights off resembling detectives. I had hoped to do this with Peter Andrew I hadn't anticipated I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The trial continues.
